Lots of Fun and Missing Teeth

We were excited this summer to get to visit with the Garris cousins and celebrate with Dawn on her birthday!

DSC_0324Here is Jaylyn, Dalayna and Malaine

We got to see “The Little Mermaid” at the Muny.

DSC_0343The girls LOVED it.

DSC_0345Do you think Leighton watched much of it?

DSC_0347We were close quarters way up just under the free seats.  Leighton was pretty wiggly.

DSC_0346She was silly and mostly playing peek-a-boo with some crazy guy up behind us.

We tried out another fun fountain park with the Laxton cousins and some friends. . .

DSC_0351Not sure why Adley is just sitting on the rock.  In the background you can see our friends son getting ready to swing the big girls on the big swings.

Had some usual silly girly fun. . .

DSC_0498 Can you tell who is the comedian?  Not sure what kind of face she was doing.

Bible School Fun

Here are some pics from the Bible School Kick off and some of the girls on the performance night.   They had a blast with this year’s theme, “Saddle Ridge Ranch”.  It was a perfect theme for some horse-lovin’ girls.

DSC_3139They had lots of fun Ranch-style games.  Adley needed a little help from “Nina”.

DSC_3141Even horse rides!  That was the best part, of course.  :-)

DSC_3145Adley enjoyed Ricky the horse, too.

DSC_3147Panning for gold

DSC_3157TJ even had to get into the action – snakes in the boot!

DSC_3158Adley giving it a try

DSC_3159Even a hay ride.  Thanks to cousin Mark for enduring the super hot heat in the sticky hot hay.

DSC_3168Here is the preschoolers rehearsing on stage.  I got to do music again with these guys.  They are always a lot of fun.  Notice Adley in the front row.  This was her first official VBS year.  She loved it.  Notice she is dancing along.

DSC_3174Notice again, singing along.

DSC_3181Then, performance time came and they were all in their cute little “cowboy vests”.  She did not move for any of the three songs!  She said she didn’t sing and dance because of her new brown shirt.  Maybe she didn’t want her new “shirt” messed up.  :-)DSC_3193Jaylyn singing along with all of the big kids (K-6).  She has always loved the performance part.  Hard to believe isn’t it?

DSC_3194Here is a shot of most of the group on stage.  It is getting harder and harder to fit them up there.  If everybody would have been there, we would not have fit.  Or, they would have fit, but you wouldn’t have seen your kids.

Is it bad that I’m always glad when it’s over?  :-)
