Flashback to Trunk or Treat

As always, our family connected our trunk and costume decorations together for our church Trunk or Treat.  We went with a Circus theme this year.  It was a lot of fun.

Adley’s Big Day

Adley has certainly enjoyed turning 5!  I think Jaylyn has enjoyed Adley turning 5 too.  Not only did Adley generously share her presents from her party on Saturday (this labeled her as the BEST sister ever from Jaylyn), but Jaylyn got to enjoy the lunch at Incredible Pizza along with Adley.  :-)  I think Jaylyn even woke Adley up because she couldn’t wait to give her the gift she had bought for Adley with her own money.  Adley has been all smiles and has tried to enjoy each moment.  She got to play around while Jaylyn did her school this morning.  Then, TJ came home at lunch and Adley opened her presents and we headed to Incredible Pizza.  Adley couldn’t wait to spin the birthday wheel.  This was the perfect day to go because it was practically empty today.  Well, after the school group left anyway. . . but that was about the time we were arriving.  Anyway, it was lots of fun and thanks to TJ hitting it big on one of the spin the wheel games, they got some fun junk for prizes.  :-)  Then, cupcakes at home and Wii!  What a day for a five year old.

FYI

I have more vacation pictures.  You will see them eventually. . .

There are lots of other pictures too.  Eventually you may also see those.  :-)

Leighton is loving baby dolls and likes to cover them with a “blankelet”.

I also started to do some potty training.  She is doing okay, but life is really too crazy to focus enough on that.  So, I have had quite a few messes to clean up.

She also told me the other day that the Barbie pushed her.  (She had a smile on her face.)

Adley had a birthday party this weekend and her birthday is tomorrow!

More will come about her later. With all of the rest of the posts. . . .

Jaylyn is questioning me about everything I type right now.

She is full of imagination and QUESTIONS.  :-)  Even now, commenting on this smiley face I typed.

C ya!

Vacation – Part 2

We arrived in Gulf Shores the next day and the girls were super excited to explore the condo and start having fun!  We had dinner at Lamberts (yes they have one of those down there!) and went for a walk on the beach that evening after unpacking.  Besides some construction being done at our condo complex, the rest of the week was lots of fun in the sun!

DSC_0161We even saw some dolphins following one of the big boats going by.

DSC_0165Adley and I even got to check out the fun paintings on the wall in the bathroom.  (Four year olds get excited about fun bathrooms you know. . .)
