Jaylyn Braved the Dentist
Those of you that know Jaylyn, know that she is a girl with many fears. They say you shouldn't say in front of your fearful child that they are shy, etc. So, I think I am just going to say God has given her a "cautious spirit". Well, the dentist experience has been one of those that she has been unsure about. I have taken her a couple times, but she has never allowed them to touch her teeth. Although, she did let them look. Well, it has been a while and now that she has gotten a little older, she is doing better at trying some things. She does try to be brave. :) So, we tried again. I told her if she could be brave with getting shots that hurt, she could be brave at the dentist since it doesn't hurt. Poor girl was very nervous and kept getting tears in her eyes thinking about it. She just kept trying to wipe them away. On the way there, she told me she could not stop thinking about the dentist! She made sure I went first and asked over and over again what the hygentist was doing and how she was NOT going to do that to her, just mommy. She would not sit or take her eyes off what the hygentist was doing to me. It was pretty comical. But, we joked with her and she seemed to be doing okay. One thing was for sure, they were not going to put that "Poky Thing" in her mouth! She repeatedly mentioned that one!!! That poor hygentist is going to be answering Jaylyn's questions in her sleep now. But, when it was her turn, she got in the chair (the princess throne) and let her polish her teeth. Although, she was worried it would tickle too much on the top teeth, so she would only let them polish the bottom. :) But, she did it and did fine and knows now that it doesn't hurt. It was quite an afternoon!
Bathroom Update
So far, TJ has been able to work in the bathroom on Saturdays and today my dad is here to help with the radiator part of the project. Such a FUN part that I'm sure he is thrilled with tackling. He has it out and is working on rearranging the pipes below the floorboard to work with a baseboard heater instead of bringing the radiator back in. He is definitely making a lot of noise up there. :)
Here is the progress Tim and TJ had made a couple Saturdays ago when the dumpster was here. They ripped out the rest of the wall and got the exhaust fan started.
Notice what is missing?? No more radiator! And you can see some of the dry wall Tim and TJ got up last Saturday. They also finished the exhaust fan. Moving right along!
My happy Dad so excited about this radiator project. Nothing is ever simple with our house and there are plenty of difficulties in changing that radiator to a baseboard system. But, I think he is making progress!!

Well, I have been away with a "media fast" and now I have lost all of my energy and so I am just trying to get done what needs to be done. :) But, I am now officially in the final trimester. So, that is exciting. So, here come some catch up posts!

This Old House-part 2
Here are some updated photos from the day. They have pretty much removed everything except for the radiator so far and more of the wall tile.
No more toilet, sink or mirror/medicine cabinet
This is a picture of where the pregnant gal cannot use the bathroom anymore. . .
The girls are very excited.
Yes, the sink, tub AND toilet are now out in our yard. :) Feel free to come by and plant flowers for me, Shannon. Ha! Actually, we are just waiting to get a dumpster because we also still have the old kitchen sink in the garage. Should we haul it out to join its friends?

Well, we are on to the next home project. Our upstairs OLD and YUCKY bathroom will be no more. Demolition began today.
Here it is before. (and actually after I took all of our stuff out. It really looks extra horrible without all of the curtains and normal bathroom stuff.)
This is our horrible tub. It is just a tub, but those before us, and us have used it as a shower. So, before we moved in, whatever paneling kind of material they used (that looks like tile) on the walls, was not really made for getting wet. So, it has been peeling and peeling for a long time now. The walls really looks bad in the picture. I can't even post the side where the shower spout was because it is almost peeled off and looks even worse.
And now, tub be gone! It was that easy too, right guys??? :)

Here it is in our yard - nice lawn decor, huh?
Here are our handy helpers from today - lucky ducks! Poppy and Mr. Tim! (In case you don't know him, he is like a rock star to our girls.) They had a little water spurting issue, but I think it fine now. Except for where all of the plaster and junk and water have now fallen through the walls down to the basement (and into my basket of clean laundry.) :)
They are still at work as I type. Maybe there will be a toilet in my yard to join the tub soon!

Just a Few Pics
Here are some silly pics of the girls. . .
Cuddled up together to watch a show.
A new thing right now is their obsession with wearing swimming suits for fun even though it is FREEZING outside. Adley has caught on to this adventure and demands that she wear one too. She has had to take her naps in them also.
Silly girl with her pants falling off, as usual.
Jaylyn actually took this picture while I was in the bathroom. I heard the camera turn on and Jaylyn came to tell me that Adley had taken the vent cover off and was looking inside. She decided to "catch" Adley on camera for proof. :) (Notice her pants are falling off again. Hee hee!)
