Here are some pictures from Easter Day. . .
Here we are
The Cousins (missed you Garriss’s)
I messed up my flash, but this is the result of Easter fun all day. Adley woke her up before I could snap another.
Here are a few pictures I took of the girls having their own “olympics” after doing some Ancient Greece studies. (Don’t let these pictures fool you. We are not always fun and games. :-) I’m certainly not going to post the pictures of the grumpy math lesson and the erasing and re-doing of the handwriting assignments. Hee hee!)
Our opening ceremony included a parade of their olympic flags.
Leighton wanted to get in on the action. She was disqualified for improper technique.
What is an olympic event without a “balloon between the legs” relay? :-)
Medal Ceremony. They received their paper medals and they even got up on the “platform”. We played the national anthem on Youtube. Once again, Leighton could not be left out.
It was a good time. . . . if only all of homeschool was this enjoyable. :-)
We had the annual family party for Chinese New Year. It is always great to celebrate these Chinese beauties that have become family and friends. God has blessed us with these precious gifts from afar.
FYI – I am not Chinese. . .
But, I love their dresses and squeaky shoes! :-)
Those were the three that kept wanting me to take their picture! They were having fun posing!
Making Leighton giggle!
Our Chinese Beauties: Sage, Mavery, Dalayna, Hannah, Eden and Haddie
Well, at least Jaylyn thought it was the biggest snowman ever. :-) Of course, it is the biggest snowman that they have made!
The snowman needs accessories!
(TJ was so sweet to pose with his lovely hat hair so the snowman could have a hat. Ha!)
All finished! Mittens and everything!
Snowman! Good job! I love it!
