I will say it every time, but I can’t believe she is eight! Jaylyn is such a special girl and we are so thankful for God’s blessings through her. For those that know Jaylyn, she used to be afraid of everything. Oh, those were some days. . . But, thank the Lord, as she got older, she learned to control her fears and has definitely become more brave. :-) God has definitely helped her in this area and I will be excited to see how He continues to work in her life. She is still more reserved and quiet in public settings, but continues to be crazy at home. Hee hee! She is quite a leader when it comes to her sisters. Her imagination is amazing and I can’t keep up with all of her creative ideas! It is hard to get through a school lesson with her, because she is always finding inspiration for some new creative idea. Ex. yesterday we were reading about William Shakespeare and his amazing playhouse “The Globe”. So, her mind was off and running on how she could design an amazing theatre and the plays she could perform. Then we were reading about Queen Elizabeth I and then her mind was off and running again trying to design amazing dresses like Elizabeth wore everywhere. She loves to create and experiment. If only I could keep up!
So, December 29th was her birthday and she was ready for gifts!

After that excitement, we headed out to lunch and to get her helmet and a grooming kit for her lessons. And it was soooooo nice outside, they actually got to play outside a bit.
