Adley's Birthday

Adley turned two on Monday! Since I haven't been feeling all that energetic, it has taken me a few days to get to her birthday post. Adley really enjoyed her birthday. She was enjoying telling everyone that it was her birthday. She is still not sure what to say when people ask her how old she is. She was so used to saying, "one!". But, now we say, "no". We had a chicken nugget lunch at McDonald's and Pizza Hut for supper after picking up daddy at work. Adley made lots of new friends at daddy's office! Then it was time for presents and cake! Woohoo! She had a blast singing and blowing out her candles. She wanted to do it again and again! She also got into her presents. Even now, she will go from one present to the next. She loves her new chair like Jay Jay's and has done her puzzle over and over and over again. It is amazing that my big'ol 9lb7oz baby with big neck rolls is such an adorable "petite" little girl. She loves to ham it up and is definitely our social bug compared to her sister. Although, I got a little worried when she added, "I love you!" to her greetings to some stranger at Walmart. (Thankfully, I did know the lady. But, Adley didn't! One day, we may have to have a talk.) Anyway, her smile and giggles light up a room and she is also loved on lots by her big sister. We are blessed to have two sweet girls and we pray they will both grow to be beautiful young ladies on the inside and out. Happy Birthday Adley!

"I'm two now!"

Big sis enjoying the day also.

Yummy breadsticks!

Cake!

My chair!

Presents! She sat down the next day and looked at all of her presents and said, "My birthday!"
