Our usual events are to attend the church Christmas Eve service and then go crash the Goleaner Christmas Party.

Birthday cake for Baby Jesus! They wanted to use Shannon's fun flaming candles for Baby Jesus's cake. Those are pretty nifty!

Uncle Ray sharing about the candy cane and the spiritual lessons we can learn. Jaylyn remembered it too. The next time we saw a candy cane, she told me the things Uncle Ray had shared. Red is for the blood of Jesus. White for Purity and how He cleanses us of our sins. Upside down it is a "J" for Jesus.
Then Uncle Ray read the Christmas story while the kids added their pieces of the nativity as it was read. Adley ended up with Baby Jesus, her FAVORITE! At first she didn't want to give Him up and add Him to the scene. But, we told her she was putting him nighty-night with His family. She happily added Him then. :)
