Be My Valentine

We had a fun Valentine's Day. I helped Jaylyn make all of her own valentine cards for her friends at preschool. We had lots of fun with stickers and glue and heart punches. She did a pretty good job on most of them. She was being pretty creative. We had to make them in shifts because it definitely was a lot of work for one sitting. She especially got tired of signing her name on all of them. She had her party at preschool on Friday and I think they enjoyed themselves. You should see the loot she brings home from these parties. She has had fun trying to read her friend's names on the valentine cards she received.

T.J., as usual, left fun valentine candy on the table for the girls when they got up. For dinner we had a wonderful time with cousin Amber at Red Robin. Yummy food - definitely NOT good for you. T.J. and I had a nice date night on Friday - dinner, movie and Borders. Thanks to wonderful Amber for watching the kiddos!

Jaylyn also enjoys the mail. She received a few cards in the mail and an e-mail for Valentine's day. Great Grandma and Grandpa Geist swung by to drop off their cards. As we are waving out the door to them to say good-bye, Jaylyn says, "People keep giving me cards!" And Adley, well. . . she enjoyed the day just like all other days, but if she caught a glimpse of any candy - look out! "Num! NUM!" harassment until you give her a bite!
