My little Snots

Ok, they are not really being snotty (sometimes), but they definitely have a lot of snot. Neither of them have had a fever and they have not acted like they feel bad. Their noses just keep dripping! Jaylyn has developed a nice crusty, red upper lip. She has also discovered how convenient it is to just wipe her snot on her sleeve instead of getting a kleenex every 10 seconds. This morning she told me, "Mom, it's okay for me to have snot on my pajamas because I will be changing clothes soon." AHHHHH! Yuck! Jaylyn is really good at alerting me when Adley needs her nose wiped. "MOM! ADLEY HAS SNOT!" Adley will chime in, "Snot!" So, basically, we have been hanging out at home wishing that one day the snot will stop.

Adley has finally been standing up on her own without holding on to anything. She will also take a few steps to "walky-walky" to you. But, you must make a big deal and tickle and hug her when she gets to you. Hee Hee! She wore me out today making me "walky-walky" all over the house with her. She also brings books to you and says, "Book-y" and then turns around and backs up into your lap. Two more top teeth are breaking through right now.

Jaylyn is enjoying being a four year old. Today, she has been "Ariel" using one of Adley's baby towels on her head to look like Ariel's long hair. The other day she was talking about sending God a valentine. She loves all that she has been learning at preschool and loves to write letters and make crafts. Yesterday we made foil flowers and started making a painted fan, but we haven't finished it yet. Right now, she has 3 washcloths rolled up like scrolls and she is yelling like she is at a marketplace, "Maps for sale! Who wants a map?!" Ok, now we are apparently at a restaurant and the washcloths are the food items she is making me order. Ha.

The living room project is still in process. This weekend will be ceiling texturing and painting and maybe on to the walls! We will see what happens.

I have been posting pictures less frequently now because I'm still having more difficulty with uploading pictures for some reason. Sorry! Here is a little catch up. . .
