Swimming

It has been a busy week! At least for a mom who is not quite 100% yet and now has 3 girls to get going. :) The girls had swim lessons this week and Jaylyn's gymnastics and VBS in the evening. Not so good to go from a couch potato to dragging 3 girls to this many activities. But, we have survived and did fine. So, finally today we had no where to go and I can get some posts in!

Miss Jenny, our church children's ministry director, was so sweet to do some swim lessons with my girls. We are not the biggest swimmers and don't go that often, so our girls are not very confident in the water. Miss Jenny has been a perfect teacher for them and we have been at a couple's house from church - also a perfect environment for my girls. The girls have done better each day and we will have some more lessons next week. Hopefully we will get them to get their whole face under by then. Jaylyn was floating "almost" by herself. Here are some pics from our first day.

Miss Jenny and Adley - Adley showed her true 2 year old self by saying "No!" a lot

The girls getting warmed up. They enjoy throwing diving sticks in for Miss Jenny to retrieve.

Jaylyn trying out the float

Adley did not really want to try to float. :)

Kick, Kick!! Adley the motor boat

Mr. Don enjoyed swinging with Leighton. :)
They have a beautiful yard and pool and are so gracious to share it with so many others to enjoy.

Ms. Jo played over at the fountain with the girls. (Or supervised them so they wouldn't destroy anything. :))
